New Production and Distribution Facility in Slovakia

Tomra Sorting Solutions and Prologis, Inc., the global leader in industrial real estate, celebrated the opening of a 12,600 square-meter build-to-suit facility in Bratislava that is fully customized to accommodate Tomra’s production and distribution requirements. The German manufacturer creates transformative sensor-based solutions for optimal resource productivity in the fields of reverse vending, compaction, recycling, mining, foods and specialty products and invested more than ten million Euro.

With more than 200 employees, Prologis Park Bratislava is a state-of-the-art distribution center that currently comprises ten buildings totaling 234,000 square-meters. Located 24 kilometer east of Bratislava’s city center, two kilometer from Senec and 16 kilometer from the international airport, the park is ideally suited for domestic and international logistics operations.
